While more widely known for her role as a singer, actress as well as songwriter and pianist Alicia Witt has been performing music from the very beginning in the screen. While working mostly as piano player, she came out with an EP titled "Epilogue" in 2009 in which she showcased her obvious debt to artists like Elton John and Billy Joel as well as a confident vocal range to go with the music. The first album she recorded that was produced by Ben Folds, Revisionary History, appeared in 2015. The Conduit was her next album, which marked her debut in co-production. Alicia Witt first appeared onscreen in 1984 when she played Alia Atreides in David Lynch's adaptation Frank Herbert's Dune. While she was just 10 in 1984, it's no surprise that she was labeled as being an actor but not a singer, despite having played piano since she began acting. Although she was onscreen more but her profession as a musician did not commence until the year 1995.
